For tarifas24.es, a start-up company in Madrid launching a portal in the finance, insurance and telecommunications sectors, we are looking for a senior Java Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing our product technically. Launching new product sections, maintaining the site’s performance in live use and constantly improving it are your main duties. You will also build up the IT team and maintain relationships with key external IT providers and partners.

- University degree in Information Technology
- Proven knowledge in technology and implementation of server-based applications systems, ideally in a J2EE environment
- Experience in software engineering and business process modeling
- Very good knowledge of server side Java development and servlet technologies
- Solid knowledge of JSP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS and AJAX
- User-level experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases as well as Unix-like OSs (Linux-Solaris)
- Experience in running a consumer website with over 500.000 PIs/month is a plus
- Able to work under time constraints and shifting targets
- You have fun developing software
- Strong sense of responsibility, team player
- Good communication skills
- Fluent in English, good knowledge of Spanish
